How can I convince my grown son to see a Doctor for high blood pressure & obvious depression?

I took his blood pressure, so I know this. As for the depression, the signs are: he's single with no lady friend, he lost his house, he can't stop smoking, his unruly 8 year old son is constantly causing chaos (which is due to my son not being tough enough on him - he has custody & wants to be his son's friend.) He seems to have lost interest in things. I want to help before it's too late, but he won't listen because I'm his mom or maybe just because I'm a woman.

  1. You can offer to take a walk with him. You can make sure there are foods around the house which research has shown are effective in lowering blood pressure (those high in potassium).

  2. go to http://www.wedmd.com and put high blood in the search..let him read it, or print it, its nothing to play with, if he wants to live to see his son grow up, he best have it treated..if for no other reason..
