How can I completely clear my face of all acne?
I don't have a terrible problem with acne, but I always have at least 1 or two pimples, and it drives me crazy! (I'm 16 if it matters) I also have little scars. I don't even pick at my acne. The scars are only on my cheeks, and I can usually cover them with makeup. They aren't bumps, but they're reddish/purplish. I know that I can cover them, but it bothers me because they shouldn't be there. covering them just isn't enough for me. I normally use Clean and Clear scrub, but I just recently bought tea tree oil face wash because I have the face mask, and it seemed to be working well, so I figured I'd try switching over. (I have oily skin also, so tea tree oil helps that) What can I do to get rid of the little blemishes in my skin? What are some home remedies for getting rid of acne scars? My mother won't let me go out and buy vitamin e oil, so don't say that, or any other medicine. She thinks it's a waste, and she's stubborn, so I don't want to push it. Thanks =)
I've tried proactive. My acne isn't that severve, and it's too expensive. Clean and clear worked just as well, if not better.

First off, let me commend you on respecting your mother. Because of your age, hormones are likely responsible in a large part for your periodic acne. Drinking lots of water, and washing your face morning and evening, using a toner with alcohol or other blemish control ingredient should minimize the breakouts. Use the face mask as directed, if it is part of a complete skin care line, try to use all the products from that same line because that will give you the best results. Cleanse, mask, toner, moisturizer/oil control and protection are the 5 steps of a good skin care system.

Hmm…… i suggest ProActiv. It helps ALOT! And can even help with some of the scars too. they also have a make up line to help prevent zits and such.. i love it.
Face masks seem to be the best solutions to over night zits and if thats not working then I’m not sure what else to suggest…

Try this simple remedy. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne like soap. The secret of keeping the skin clear is to keep it oil-free and clean. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

Baking Soda works wonders! It has already helped me after 2 days of using it.
What you need to do is pour some in your palm and slowly add drops of water until it is a paste. Apply it onto your wet face with your fingertips in a circular motion and after spreading it over your whole face (maybe concentrate more on areas with scarring or pimples) rinse it with cool water and towel dry your face!
You won’t even have to bother your stubborn mom because you likely have a box of baking soda in your cabinet!
Good luck, I hope this works for you as well and it has for me! I’ve tried everything including prescription pills and gels and this has worked better than anything else!

im going to tell u the same thing i told someone else. ive tried proactive too and its not for everyone no matter what they say. i had the exact same issue as u do except they didnt turn purple that just means urs has gotten more infected. since i was 15 ive used clearasil in a thin layer under all of my makeup and used hot steamy washcloths to open the pores before cleaning, then after cleaning prior to the clearasil use ice cold water to close ur pores so bacteria cant get back in and reinfect. dont put makeup over a sore it spreads it and makes it worse. instead put a thick dab of clearasil right on the blemish at nite noone but ur mom and family will see you with white dots all over ur face and ull wash it next morning, plus it only costs u under 4.00 bux.

You’d have to live in a sterile environment, completely sterile.
Acne is a healthy biological function designed by nature to remove toxins, dirt, bacteria and dead skin cells from the pores.
Considering the dead skin cells thing, I think you’d have to be dead so the normal biological function of the skin would be totally and completely inhibited. Yep. Dead. That would work.
If you continue using products that increase UV absorption, such as benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid and glycolic acid, and, as I recently discovered, Triethanolamine, you may not have to suffer with those horrible pimples for too long.
The rate of skin cancer in the US has nearly tripled in the last 30 years. The age of first onset is dropping like a rock. Highly photosenstizing chemicals are likely the reason for the increase in frequency and the decline in age of first onset.
Technically, the sun is causing the increase in skin cancer – because without the sun, these chemicals would probably be benign. However with the sun, or tanning bed, they’re cancerous.
If you do not believe that benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid and glycolic acid increase your risk of skin cancer, call your doctor, dermatologist or aesthetician and ask them exactly what level of SPF protection you require to ensure that you have no increase in skin cancer risk from whichever chemical you are currently using.
If you would like to look at a natural routine that doesn’t increase your risk of skin cancer when exposed to UV, click on my profile and click the link for free natural acne routine.

I shared this with someone else. Hope it helps…
I have offered this to others….
Hi! I had the same problem. Lots of creams, pills, even took accutane which has totally caused other issues besides skin issues, like really bad dry patches on my skin.
I may be bias as I sell it, but the reason I sell it is because it was the FIRST and only thing that ever helped my skin.
Mary Kay. If you are willing to give it a try I will be happy to recommend several products to you and will work closely with you to make sure they are working. You can always, return stuff.
You should also know that you need to give anything you try, at least 2 weeks.
You should also try to cut out as much sugar as possible and drink lots of water, stay away from greasy foods.
I tried proactive and it was to harsh on my skin, the other stuff you are trying may be to harsh for you as well.
