In order to rid yourself of the extra body fat around your midsection, you need to incorporate effective cardio sessions into your fitness plan. You cannot spot-reduce the midsection by doing extra ab exercises like crunches or sit-ups. You first must burn off the body fat through proper cardio to properly define the area. Abdominal training by itself will not do much. Cardio needs to be intense enough to do the trick. Three to four sessions a week of intense jogging, running, the Stairmaster, the elliptical, jumping rope, or biking should be enough to get the process in gear. Swimming, hiking, and taking aerobics classes are beneficial as well. Nothing beats jogging or running. It is the most intense, efficient, and effective method of burning calories. If running outside hurts your joints, try running inside on a treadmill or outside on a dirt path. It definitely is easier on the body. Again, you NEED three to four intense cardio sessions a week to help create a calorie deficit and help rid the body of the fat that covers your abs. I saw this guy saying that ab workouts only increase the muscle under the fat and don’t actually make the 6 pack visible… Is this true?

@TechnSport Yes, U need to also lose ur fat so it can get visible. U have muscles all over ur body, but they’r under the fat.

brandon the ab move u did on :47… i did it also on both sides and i ALWAYS catch a cramp on the outside leg…..help me with this problem!

I’ve been lifting for 2 years, i run for 30 minutes and I lift for one hour and 30 minutes, my trainer is my football coach, and I’m 15 and.i still weigh 260…I wanted to get ripped and I’m still trying but it got me to be an ALL-AMERICAN without a six pack :’(:’(:’(
