Heart Attack Test

Researchers say they have a test that can tell if you're having a heart attack in just minutes, rather than the current test that takes hours. They discovered this by studying patients who actually benefit from a heart attack. www.sciencentral.com

  1. thats very good. keep it going guys

  2. Nice to see these new techniques developed. Although it’s probably a little early to tell 100% how good these tests are.

  3. Thanks for calling it a technique, not a technology, which is overused by commercial world

  4. This test will save many lives. Many people who are having a heart attack have symptoms other than chest pain, such as shoulder or back pain. With this simple test, doctors will be able to quickly determine which patients are actually having a heart attack. It’s a big step forward.

  5. oeh noes im guna get a hart atak rite now

  6. OHNOES i’m gonna die

  7. the doctor sounds like a kid

  8. The test came from the technique of killing the patient for a while, so the excess heart muscle dies and this makes your heart work better.

It would be interesting to have heard the conversation when the new (“kill em, to make ‘em better”) technique was first suggested, as it doesn’t seem the logical thing to do.

The logical thing, it would seem with an over large heart is to cut away the excess muscle or give a new one.

  9. The doctor’s voice makes me think of Man Stroke Woman’s sketch “new boy in the kitchen”. haha

  10. whoaaa lot of helium in the examining room

  11. I think he had too much helium when he was a kid. iDunno

  12. incredible! this will save lives!

  13. Doogie Howser! :)

  14. This could end that agonizing month long wait while the hospital tests to see if you’re having a heart attack or not.

  15. I thought I had a heart attack 2 years ago and I went straight to the hospital… They took my blood and checked for some chemical that is visible for, i think, 24 hours, IF you had a heart attack. They said I had some type of weird electrical malfunction that might never happen again. Then they billed me $4500. Then I had the heart attack, lol. j/k

  16. when he takes sulphurhexafloride he gonna sound like a normal person…

  17. It will also make a few more Jewish doctors a bit more richer at the expense of those that can ill afford the procedure, well done doctors!!

  18. watch run from the cure on you tube all 7 parts
