Jack Scalfani is finally going to eat more healthy. Here are some healthy eating tips he will be using to lose 30 lbs. before the end of the year. FOLLOW JACK'S WEIGHT ON TWITTER: @JAKATAK4 Here are the healthy eating tips he talks about: . What to eat: It all starts at the grocery store or the restaurant. a. No starch. stay away from bread, pasta, and potatoes. b. anything out of a bag is bad. c. get protein style hamburgers d. seasoning instead of sauce e. ask for grilled chicken instead of breaded chicken f. tomatoes instead of potatoes and get eggs scrambled so you don't have to have toast g. give up something small. cheese, bacon, croutons, bread at dinner. h. two choices for sweetness: fruit / chocolate cake. How much to eat: a. Start with a glass of water. Trust me on this. Sometimes we are thirsty. b. Volume Volume Volume. eat often / eat less. don't wait until starving. c. ruin dinner How to eat: a. when you eat, feed your body not your mouth b. never eat while doing something else c. don't fork your next bite until your mouth is empty d. Chew your food 25 times / more work now / less work later

  6. @jakatak69 hello again jack, my program hit the jackpot, after 3 weeks (more salad, less meat, less fat, less sugar + low dressing like u said, thanks)
    i have successfully lower my cholesterol, Triglyceride and my uric acid level to a lower amount
    this is the result, taken 1st @ 5 august, and 2nd @ 27 august and the ( ) show the maximum allowed level)
    cholesterol from 237 to 153 (max 200)
    Triglyceride from 235 to 147 (max 150)
    uric acid from 9,9 to 7,3 (max 7,00)
    i feel a lot healthier now (^_^)

  7. @g4r15 wow. You did it big time. Nice job. Mine aren’t that low yet. I’m at 217 Triglycerides and 165 cholesterol. My AC was 6.3
    We are doing this together. How cool. I’m getting there. Nice job.

  8. @g4r15 go with the vinaigrette dressings. There are about 10 different flavors and make sure you stay under 5 sugars. You will be fine. I stopped 1000 island. It’s mayo and ketchup and both are bad.

  11. I have a question. I noticed you said you are diabetic. I am too, and I have a hard time figuring out what to pack for lunch and snacks at school. The easiest thing is PB&J sandwiches, but I really shouldn’t eat it- jelly has alot more sugar than people notice and has bread. What are easy snacks and meals that I can pack for school that meet this healthy eating criteria?

  12. @dolphingal316 diabetic snacks: sugar free jello or pudding / pork rinds / celery and peanut butter / cherry tomatoes / flavored rice cakes / raw mixed nuts from target ( not salted)

  13. @ThorMaxx Always.Still not everybody is used to steaming vegetables,so…

  14. @edu35912 Its too bad… it really is not that hard to do. Even easier if you have a rice cooker with a veggie tray insert.

  15. all you need is cardio and nutrition. see the user scoobysworkshop, hes helped me lose 30 pounds.

  16. my tip is dont eat and feed off sunlight i have done this and i havent felt hungry in 3 days what you do is every day stare at the sun on day one start with 10 seconds and then every day increase your time with 10 seconds untill you get to 45 mins then do the reverse

  21. @Doc367 rice and pasta are about the same type of starch. If your going to have a little rice have the whole grain rice.

  22. when you look at the food pyramid its got bread and potatoes on it. Why cut them out?

  23. @DaleWest6661 because carbs is not always needed. An athlete, yes. Eat the pyramid. A guy who works at a desk, no. Stay away from heavy carbs. You will get the carbs you need in other foods. Trust me. You are looking at a Pyramid chart from the 1960′s. That chart is so archaic. When they made that charge, Pluto was still a planet in our Solar System.

  25. hey Jack you should check out 180 degree health . blogspot .com if you don’t like diets. eating whole foods (bread doesnt count but potatoes do) creates a nutritional abundance in the body, raising metabolic rate and making weight loss effortless. fat or carbs are not the problem but refined foods. forget the veg oils, use animal fats for cooking
