I had my belly button pierced about 3 weeks ago. At first I would feel the piercing during cleaning (normal). I recently bought H2Ocean and used to it yesterday for the 1st time. Today when I went to clean any possible crusties, I felt nothing around my piercing. No new piercing pain when I moved it. I notice that I have not really had any pus or crust. My question is, is my piercing healing nicely? On schedule haha...I have it reject on twice before, bought 3 years ago though. I feel it was my fault that it rejected. Before I was healed I had it changed out to a dangly ring. It would get caught on my clothes, I stopped cleaning it and it got infected, I just didnt take care of it. But I am taking care of it now, and it feels good. No pain, crust or pus. I take multi vitamin every morning.

Keep up the good work for at least six months. Navel piercings take forever to heal because of limited blood flow. The outside may look good but the inside passages take longer. Do not change jewelry for at least six months. And stay away from the danglys for a few months after that.

I wouldn’t move it if you can avoid it, if your concernbed talk with you piercer, they should be able to let you know if everything is ok.

it sounds like it is healing nicely this time. just make sure that you clean at least twice a day (in the morning and night i would recommend)
also after you use the H2Ocean or do sea salt soaks, make sure to always use some anti-bacterial soap (like Dial) and water to clean the area afterwards to clean away what was taken out of the piercing and is now just sitting on your skin.
also dont change it for AT LEAST 6 months, it takes 1 year for the piercing to fully heal, and even if it looks and feels healed on the outside, it may not be on the inside, so wait the full year or it will reject again.
dont go swimming for 2 months after getting it either, bacteria will get in and infect it, it could also give you a disease. the salt in the water dries it out too. (oceans, lakes, ponds)
in pools theres bacteria as well, but also chlorine, which dries it out a lot and causes infection.
never clean with alcohol or peroxide either, which do the same thing.
dont twist it ever either, it gets crusties and bacteria inside and irritates the area.
and dont touch it unless cleaning and be careful with things rubbing against it and when your sleeping.
if you have any other questions just email me

well its healing but it will take up to a year to fully heal so wait for like three months to be up then change it.. good luck with it :)
