hair help.??????plz 10 points best answer?
i have been noticing some hair falling oout. my mom is very concerned so i have a doctors appointment and im really really scared. i have been doing some research and the only thing that i could have is alopecia. but i know i dont cuz it says that alopecia causes smooth bald patches and i dont have them. the things i have been doing to my hair is washing it everyother day, straightnig the bangs and then teasing them and putting it in a ponytail and using hairspray. my friend says having low iron intake can cause hair falling. i have only been eating my vitamins everyday with out iron.plus i havent been eating more than i used to. (im not anorexic) what do you think? sould i be scared for tomarrow? do you think its alopecia, or just the things im doing to my hair? or the nutrition. i know this is long but im really scared. thanks
are their any home remedies to help it.
oh yea and im only fifteen

if you do take vitamins and eat regularly like you said, than you shouldnt be worried. the straightening and teasing of your hair is most likely causing it to become damaged, which causes the hair to break and fall out. also,if you have thin hair your hair has a tendency to fall out more than thick hair.
good luck tomorrow, and dont fret!

it doesnt sound like a problem – at different stages in everyone’s life they’ll have more hair shedding than usual – just try not to straighten it too much and not to worry (stress could be a cause also!!)

it is not alopecia, you’re right their would be smooth bald patches
your doctor would know more about this. Don’t worry he/she knows what he/she is doing, and they see this kind of thing all the time. The only time you need to worry is when the doctor seems alarmed. But you sound fine and your mom is right for taking you to the doctor
Good luck and happy easter!

I had the same problem until I started using Propecia. Also folicure shampoo. With both of these products I am sure your hair will stop falling off.

sometimes my hair falls out too and i dont have alopecia…i wouldnt be too worried…if you want something that can help talk to your doctor…i did and all i had to do was change my shampoo and my leave in conditioner…it turns out they werent right for my hair…just talk to your doctor because they know best…keep eating vitamins and if its your nutrition not eating as much wont help much…trust me not eating as much wont help your hair…just talk to the doctor and dont be too worried

sometimes people can lose hair. I wouldn’t be scared, but talk to your doctor about it. You could be prematurely bald-not meaning you go bald or anything, it just means you can suffer from hair loss. This is slightly common and you can buy medicated shampoo to prevent this and could also be from your flattening iron. Stop using this and see if it makes a difference. I hope I helped ; )

If you have bad dandruff that might be the problem. I knew some one who had that problem.
