Hair help please! I look like Vitamin C with blonde highlights!?
Ok my hair is naturally brown and I got highlights about 3 months ago. Later I decided to go completely blonde(my goal was golden blonde)...so I bought a lorel color (ultra sun blonde) and now my hair is BRIGHT orangey strawberry blonde...if I didnt have the blonde highlights I would have an orange head!:( Does anyone know what I can do? or if I can mix a temp to tone it down? My goal is still to get to blonde all over. Please help!

There are a few things to know here.
#1- With boxed dye, if the color says"golden" there is a good chance that it will give a strong orange tone to your hair. Another word to watch for is "ash". Ash is green based and can leave a really nasty baby poo color in your hair.
#2- Going from brown to blonde is difficult. Orange is just a color stage it has to go through and it can be easy to get stuck at orange without help.
#3- The best option to go all blonde is to bleach. Unless you want to go darker, using another dye isn’t gonna lift the orange color. Or you could try finding a blue based toner to neutralize the orange.

u need to bleach your head all over again.u should of never got anything that says gold or sun.u need to go with cool tones.like beige or ash.but don’t bleach your hair and use ash it could turn gray if u don’t know what your doing.your going to have to bring that red orange color up a level or 2 and bleach is about the only thing.start at mid shaft of your hair leave that in awhile then do your roots and ends.u may need a toner after that and that’s normal alot of people do i do.and my hair is so blonde its white.but when i went from red hair to white hair almost.omg that was horrible the ugly colors i went thru.thats if your wanting blonde blonde hair like mine.if u just want to lift it up a level just get reg dye but make sure it says ash on it.like ash blonde or med ash blonde.good luck.
