Hair Growth?

Around mid to later March I had a bad visit to the hair stylist. My hair was finally growing out, about an inch or two below my shoulder, hardly any bottom layers. I brought her in a picture of how I wanted my bangs done. Just my bangs. Well, she saw the picture and thought I wanted the layers in the girls hair. To make a long story short, after attempting to grow it out, its slightly below my shoulder, with TONS of layers. I'm trying to regrow it out, as a long time ago it was to the middle of my back.
I've heard that vitamins will help give you healthy, long hair. However, I'm not sure what vitamins I should buy. Also, I'm trying to find a shampoo and conditioner that caters to growing long hair, would you recommend Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship? If not, what would you recommend?
Thank You..

  1. I would recommend Garnier Fructis Length & Strength Shampoo & Conditioner. It is the first anti-breakage hair system with Reinforced Active Fruit Concentrate.

For Vitamins I would recommend Future Biotics Hair, Skin, & Nails Vitamin. It made a quite a diffference on my hair!

There’s many different products by Garnier Fructis, so try browsing the site.

  2. Herbal Essence is a stripping shampoo… which means that it really pulls the dirt out of your hair. You should use a stripping shampoo every third wash. The other two washes should be with a deep conditioning shampoo like dove (you can get much better shampoo’s and conditioners for a better price at Sally Beauty Supply Stores). Also, adding gelitine to your diet will help your hair and nails grow stronger and healthier (vitamins C and E also help but gelitine works better than anything else… eat jello). Remember every 2-3 months to go and have 1/8th of an inch trimmed off your cut to make sure that the ends are healthy. Try not to blow dry or use irons on your hair to help keep it healthy. A leave in conditioner would not hurt either (so long as it does not make your hair look greasy). Hope this helps.

  3. there is a vitamin at GNC for helping your nails and hair grow faster. i dont know what its called but i know of a few people who have used them and it did help.

  4. just make sure u have no split ends. having split ends slows down the growing process of hair

  5. Yes vitamins will help your hair. You should try HairFinity vitamins…it works wonders (it makes your hair grow faster, about 1 inch a month) Im on the pills now & it has made my hair longer than it has ever been (5 inches in 6 months)..I was stunned by the results. Also you should use shampoo that doesn’t have lauryl/laureth sulfates as that can strip your hair causing dryness & breakage. Try Jason Tea Tree Organic shampoo (that’s the one i use) or any organic shampoo that doesn’t contain lauryl/laureth sulfates. Also try using Dove Intense Damage Therapy conditioner, it helps fix and keep your hair healthy from any damage that can stunt the growth of your hair. Go check out hairfinity.com, they’ll help you & give you advice. also check out the testimonials.
