Hair growing help (2.5 to 3 inches)?

Ok hey everyone! SO i want to grow my hair a little bit right now its at my shoulders (just 1/2 and inch past) and my hair is layered. I'm 1/2 mexican and 1/2 white. and my family grows hair pretty fast but i want to speed it up just a bit.
my hair is pretty thick so i straighten it but I've been backing down so it will grow. So yeah I know the whole excersise water no hot tools stuff but what about vitamins and oils and that stuff? what do they do and whats the best?

  1. It could take up to a year, so just try to keep it really healthy.
B vitamins are best for hair.
Try not to wash your hair every single day. you can still shower and stuff, just avoid shampoo. It washes out the natural oil from your scalp that your hair needs to grow.
Trimming it every now and then won’t make it grow faster, but it will help in the long run, because your hair will be much healther. If you get split ends, the hair just keeps unraveling.
    Good luckk(:
    .

  2. You can’t speed up hair growth. You can make your hair healthier by trimming damaged ends, using conditioner, keeping it brushed, a good diet, etc.

  3. take good care of it..use good products( i like bed head and paul micthell) and get regular trims to keep it healthy..hope i helped..=)

  4. My hair used to be at shoulder length a year ago.
I started using Pantene:Beautiful Lengths and it really did help because now it’s to my belly button!
and i also have very thick hair

  5. Actually you CAN speed up hair growth (don’t know what these people are talking about! lol). Taking prenatal vitamins (don’t worry they’re safe for ALL women -not just pregnant ones) will help your hair grow faster, get stronger and look/feel thicker. It will make your hair shinier, smoother and softer too. It also does great things for your nails!

Things like regular trims and using conditioner are great for your hair for obvious reasons, but they won’t help your hair grow faster. Trims will keep it the same length if you get them regularly -but you already knew that. ;)

So anyways you can get prenatal vitamins at Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens -anywhere really, in the vitamins aisle. They are 100% safe and I have a lot of friends who take them. I am currently not taking them because my hair is long enough!
