Hi, it’s hard for me to answer your question without a bit more detail like how long do you do cardio and how many days a week. Also how is your diet?

I have a prosthetic leg and its hard for me to stand in that position, can this be done using a chair or weight bench?, i need to do something about my gut lol.

Hi, you can try modifying this workout to suit you. You will still get results. Try to do them without bending your legs to the squatting position, but assume a straighter leg position without locked knees. Hopefully you are able to keep a slight little bend in your knee. Then do the exercise from side to side, but do not go down past your knee. Go only as far down as is comfortable; probably as far as your mid-upper thigh. Maintain an encaged core while doing them and slightily tuck in your but

Hopefully that will work for you. Feel free to modify any of my exercises to suit your abilities. You can still get great results and work your muscles; you just need to get a bit creative. I’m sure you do that with many things already. Good luck and let me know how it works for you. If you feel any pull in your lower back, please discontinue. You always want to protect that area and with the prosthetic, I don’t know if that affect your lower back with certain exercises. I will defer to you.

@YouTips4U Thanx for the fed-ex response, you know what i can do and ive been doing all this month is i do deadlifts with 30 lb weights in each hand, i touch the floor and bring the weights up over my head for 10 reps and 6 sets, will that reduce my gut?, im getting pretty good at it, except i loose my balance every now and then.

Hi, this routine is great for you. Don’t worry about getting a manly six pack; you won’t get that with regular ab workouts. Keep working your abs and you will get the flat stomach you desire. It takes time and commitment. You should check out my Absolutely Abs Video. It’s a terrific challenging ab workout and it’s available for rent right here on YouTube. Just go to my channel and you will find it in my uploaded videos.

why the weights ??? what if i do it sans the weights ??? will it have the same results ?
September 12th, 2010 - 04:45
Hi, you can certainly do it without the weights and it will be helpful to you, but the weights do provide more resistance and work your obliques more. As you get more fit, you will want to add the weights. If you don’t have a weight, you can always use a large book like one of my viewers wrote me that she did to substitute for not having a weight.

Hi, first of all: thanky for the vid.
But I have one problem with it.. You use the weights (and explained why using weights are better than leaving them away, I’m cool with that) but IMHO it takes all the sense of using the weights if u hold em both. U balance the weights that way. Why don’t u just grab one weight, just with the hand of the leaning side. That would boost the effect lke crazy, no? However: Stay on :-)

@HarleyAssi she does that at the end :P
