Gojira -The way of all flesh- explaination of gojira’s sound


Did you notice the strange sound on 2 songs: - 08 - The art of dying - 11 - Wolf down the earth This is the sound produced by a sound guitar reversed.

  19. The ending of The Art Of Dying is the beginning part of Esoteric Surgery, except in a much higher octave.

  22. @Zeta9966 You mean the Whale Slides! You don’t drag the pick at all, its just a really quick slide with your fretting hand, on the Low D string. Usually from about the 14 fret to the 1st. Sounds awesome, its suppose to mimic a whale sound to go along with the theme and concept of the album, but its bad ass by itself. Hard to play as good as Gojira though.
