Fruit/veggies vs vitamins?

I need to know the best vitamins to substitute for fruits/veggies.I don't buy fruit/veggies often enough for a diet to work.So what vitamins would you suggest.

I need to know names or be given site links.

Please and thank you!
God bless!

  1. Actually, there’s evidence that vitamins don’t actually work. Plants and their fruits are so incredibly complex (don’t let nutritionism convince you otherwise with macronutrients) that humans CANNOT copy and replace them. We NEED to eat fruits and vegetables. The major flaw in the Western diet is the lack of greens. If everyone ate more fruits and vegetables, or plants in general, then there would be less heart disease, high blood pressure, etc. A lot of people who take vitamins tend to live a healthy lifestyle anyway, so it’s hard to tell if vitamins work for them. Health isn’t all about nutrients, it’s also about the mental and social aspects. People are generally healthier when they take the time to cook their food themselves, and especially if those are foods they picked out at the super market (produce/ plants) or food they grew themselves. Nutritionism is a very flawed science that doesn’t respect real food. Read Micheal Pollan’s book "In Defense of Food", he makes a lot of great points and backs up his views with a LOT of important studies. I know this isn’t the answer you were looking for but I hope it helps you in some way!
