fasting tips? i’ll pick a best answer :]?
'm planning on starting a fast in the morning to give myself a kickstart on my new lifestyle change.
What would be a good way to go about fasting? Juice fast, or water fast? Should I take supplements/vitamins, and if so, what kind?
It's not really to lose weight. (my bmi is 18) I'm just not eating very healthily (tons of carbs and fats). After the fast, I'm going to incorporate healthy foods into my diet.
Advice is very appreciated.

Drink LOTS of water. It will help flush all that garbage out of your body and leave you much healthier and cleaner.

I do fasting at least one a year. I try to eat some bread and extra carbs the day before so that I don’t feel sick or nauseas. The day of I take a multivitamin and drink lots of water to stay hydrated. Good luck and best wishes on your new lifestyle.

If you are just changing your diet I don’t think you really need to fast at the beginning…just start eating better. Make a plan (like a meal plan for each day).
If you are fasting and it is to clean your system out try to eat lots of fruits (any kind) and lots of water. That is a good way to clean out your system without starving yourself AND you are getting vitamins.

my advice is.as im a muslim..we wake up 1 hr before dawn and eat whatever we want..and till dusk dont eat or drink anything…so after dusk do not over eat..just eat 1/3 third of food..1/3 of water..and keep 1/3 for itself (breathing/meaning empty) also do not drink right after eating..This helps muslims to gain spiritualness to god plus get thin and experience the poor people’s pain
