does coffee reduce the impact of taking vitamins?

I have been sleeping in too late, staying up late also, cant sleep, cant wake up tired, so i started taking vitamins again, and i was wondering if I should give up drinking coffee every morning, i have read that coffee is also good for you, but will it affect the absorption of vitamins into my blood stream, perhaps speed up the consumption/excretion.

  1. Caffeine definitely takes iron out of your system. That’s why when you eat iron rich food you should drink pure orange juice because vitamin c absorbs iron into the body.

  2. Your life style is almost the same as mine, I take around 4 cups in the morning, I still take Cod liver oil and vitamins and I dont have any problems sleep or waking up, its how you fit them all in.

  3. i don,t know. i take my vitamins just before i eat. i don,t think there,s a recommendation about coffee. i did see a suggestion that you take a multi during the early afternoon, as it,s supposed to reduce the mid afternoon blahs.
