Do prenatal vitamins help make your hair grow faster and stronger, even if your not pregnant?
I have been losing my hair like crazy and I'm only 23. I believe it was because I dyed my hair not too long ago. My hair dresser told me to take prenatal vitamins to help it grow back faster and stronger. Is this true? And would it interact with my birth control? 23yr female. thank you.

Yes it will grow faster, and no it won’t interefere with your birth control. Go right ahead and take it.

nope. the reason you grow hair so fast when you are pregnant is because of hormones, not the vitamins. You need to talk to a doctor. And they may affect your birth control, or they might not. It depends what they are and what birth control you use.
but I would not recommend it.
hair dressers dont know everything.

No it does not mess with your birth control..only if you are taking other medicines.The vitamins should help just make sure you stay on your regular schedule with birth control.
