Do friut/vegetable juices lose nutrients if refrigerated?
I read in an answer on here that lemon juice helps scars. I know you should drink fresh-squeezed juices as soon as possible to insure your getting all the nutrients and vitamins. But if applying the juice to skin, does the asap part apply to skin application as well? The juice in lemons has acid, which lightens the scars, and lemons can be refrigerated for about 2 weeks and frozen for up to 6 weeks. But does refrigeration/freezing affect the acids and stuff? Or does storing it for later make the whole thing pointless since your losing all the acids/nutrients that cause the lightening in the first place? I am so confused by all of this!!! Please help!!!

OK, Well, when I was growing up my sister and I heard that if you wash your face with lemon juice it will reduce the appearance of your freckles. Well, we were loaded with them and faithfully did the lemon wash every day for months. NOTHING happened. They did not fade nothing, nada!
They also say lemon juice makes your hair shiny. Beer makes your hair shiny, mayo makes your hair soft. Ya know what, I think someone came up with this non sense back when, and we still are hoping that something will work. Good luck, let us know if it does anything for you.
