thanks for posting…met john robbins a few years ago…what a beautiful spirit. and yes, we will get people like s6u6 who really fail to realize is that a meat based diet is connected to a much bigger picture.
I grew up spending time at a family run farm. It was more humane unlike the mass feedlots that are so common today run by corporations, who by the way have killed many small farmers and their communities. Bad for the animals, people and the environment.
@thefutureisvegan i will,,,hopefully after having a nice piece of viel…. most of my relatives (grandparents ect,) lived well into their 90′s eating meat their whole lives. sorry not falling for the vegan line
Most of your relatives lived in poor health all their unethical lives in which they supported the misery of billions of fellow animals and contributed to the destruction of our planet.
You yourself are so insensitive yourself that you’d type the repugnant comment that you did above knowing full well the cruelty your dirty habit engenders.
“the vegan line” LOL
@thefutureisvegan First they had very good health, genetic i guess, Unethical? REALLY? Well i guess i adopted a predotor/prey mentality. Love nothing better in the fall then hunting spruce grouce and hungarian ppartrage, moose, and once and a while bear. great clean non factory processde meat, very tasty. Animals wernt miserable, im a good shot, majority didnt know what hit em,,,well except the bear and moose, see you shoot them in lungs and wait for em to bleed out or drown on their own blood
@TheRetiredtrucker then well geta a little messy, you hang em by legs, cut throat to bleed em out, then slit open gut to spill out intestines and other organs. then drag carcass home, hang in garage for a few days to cure then chop up and put into freezer. whats unethical bout that?
You’re the loser here sport because you have to go through your entire life living on lies, having the kind of mentality you display here and never experiencing true empathy with our fellow creatures and, of course, never having a clue what health feels like, only your fake notion of health. BTW, meat eating makes you ugly.
@thefutureisvegan living my entire life based on lies huh? pretty strong accusation. how many of your family are vigan, dont meen the kids who you force but brothers, sisters, aunts ect. how many of them are as you say living a lie? So tell me . how UGLY as you say was your mother or father? Mentality? look around sport think im in majority in society. Empathy with animals? Im more in tune with nature then you ever been. When was last time you were in the bush, i was out 2 days ago
@trucker. Yep, living a lie. Several of my relos are vegan. I live in a cottage on the verge of a large reserve and work as a field ornithologist. I’m seldom out of the bush or away from wetlands.
EMPATHY with animals – look at your previous comments which indicate your empathy very nicely – ie: none.
Majority of people – just like the majority once thought slavery was right and normal. Didn’t make slavery right and it doesn’t make imprisoning, torturing and slaughtering animals right either.
@thefutureisvegan well then, do you feel that owls and hawkks are unethical in their behaviour? as a scientist/reseaercher you dont recoganize tghe cycle of predator/prey? That man has over the melennia clawed his way to the top of the food chain? Sorry, were made to eat meat, and willl continue to do so….oh and the unethical hunters like I, have dine more for habitat conservation and to preserve ALL species then anyone else …Ducksunlimited
@TheRetiredtrucker ….and please do not equate animals with humans. they are not the same and do not have the same rights as we do sorry. they want rights and freedoms they better start evolving oposable thumbs
Sorry trucker you’re not worth discussing anything with. Your points are so hackneyed, so often debunked that I’m growing bored. Other species are constitutionally carnivores/omnivores so where’s the ethical problem with them eating meat?
Humans are Great Apes – constitutionally vegans. Please don’t raise the “canine” teeth shizz (like all meat eaters do) check out vegan Gorilla and Orangutan canines. We use those teeth for smiling, grimacing. Other apes use them in hierarchical display.
Who says other animals don’t have the same rights as humans? Who said humans are so specially distinct. You’re an arrogant, ignorant, speciesist and a time wasting fool. I’ll be blocking you now.
@thefutureisvegan I KNEW IT one of them damm PETA philes,,,, morons thinking chicken and cow has the same right to exist as a human child. thank you for the block, On a truely humanitarian note,,,, please get help,,, see a shrink,,,,your not well
Apparently the poster known as “futureisvegan” is yet another stupid fucked up american brainwashed dickhead. Eat nothing but plants, and you will be a sickly little faggot. Eat nothing but meat, and you will be a sickly little faggot. Now use your fucking brainstem and eat BOTH, like you NEED to, and you will be a healthy little faggot. Get it yet?
And by the way, raw meat is delicious. Try it sometime.
@GrowABrainstem You really ought to grow a brain, and then maybe a brainstem.
Vegans live longer than meat eaters and suffer less cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Google famous vegetarian athletes and see how unhealthy vegetarians are.
I love how meat eaters who have clearly never studied human anatomy nor nutrition are all expert on diet.
Man is at the top of the food chain? So you mean in an unarmed fight between you and a Lion, Wolf, Alagator, or even an Orangutan, you would be the victor?
I use my canines for biting into carrots! I might even use em in self defense if I had to.
Forget that fool. I read the dialogue. You pust arguments/he posts name calling and assumptions… none of which are backed up by fact.
The human body is clearly that of an herbavore. Not carnivore/ not omnivore (which share the same traits as carnivores). If grown men, cant even see that simple concept, is there really anything you can do or say to enlighten them?
@heylover3 Thats why im not dumb enough to square off with em unarmed. See a few thousand ppl like me got together. mined , smelted steel, harvested lumber and various other components and sent them to a company called winchester. They in turn sent me and milloins of other fun loving ppl these things called firearms, Then we go see the bears , tigers, orangutans and have at em…. not my fault aligators not smart enough to evolve oposable thumbs
@TheRetiredtrucker The Human Body needs certain Nutrients. Does it matter how we get it? The only thing I have against eating meat is how America raises the Animals, it’s cruel! And that’s why I’m a Vegetarian. If you want to eat meat, I don’t care. Just please keep it limited (for your own health). Remember, too much of anything can kill you!
@heylover3 Actually, we are at the top of the Food Chain. Instead of becoming stronger, like most animals, we became smarter. A lion’s weapon is his teeth and speed. Our weapon is a gun and bullets.
@GrowABrainstem How would you attain this raw meat? If you buy it, I highly recommend not eating it. And, I can’t agree with you on the brainwashed part (mainly because I don’t know where you came to this answer). Lastly, you can get nutrients from plants, it’s not even that hard.
P.S. Love your name.
@TheRetiredtrucker The thumbs don’t matter. It’s the brain that does. And animals don’t have rights. Rights are a human thing. Like how when African Americans weren’t considerred humans, they had no rights. But just because animals don’t have rights, doesn’t mean you should kill them for fun. If necessary for food, then no problem, but why kill for fun (it’s even called Game!)???
@kikyohater411 I do see where your coming from and i respect your view….just dont like ppl trying to preach about how their ways are superior to others.
