Can you take prescription cholesterol and blood pressure meds while on steroids to minimize side effects?

High cholesterol and blood pressure runs in my family, and i'm already seeing signs of it in me so the only steroid I'm willing to try is anavar all by itself because of its safety. To be extra safe could I take meds while on it?

(I expect the usual scolding for even considering a cycle with these health problems, but please, after the scolding, at least answer the question. Thank you.)
