Can you get too much Vitamin A from Multi and Omega Supplement?

I noticed in my toddlers DHA/Omega supplement that there is Vitamin A in it along with his multivitamin. Can someone tell me if he's getting too much? I included two links to the supplement he takes.

Thanks!

  1. No, the Vitamin A is fine. If you get too much, the body stores it and converts it as it needs too.

I am not sure if these products are the best options. Seem to have a high sugar content. Maybe check NutritionalTree.com for unbiased reviews of these kinds of products and choose a different brand.

  2. If its synthetic, YES.

The links you show are vitamin/minerals that are synthetic.

    Vitamin A activity, NO.

Like eating the whole carrot, which is a great source of beta carrotine, which is another word for vitamin A.

There are vitamins made from sprouts, in which the source is not synthetic.

You can take a look at them, here:

  3. It will be best if you use organic or plant based supplements like Nutrilite http://www.nutrilite.com/
With synthetic vitamins ,it can harm your liver if you are taking too much of it.

  4. it should tell you the amount and if it is synthetic you have to take into consideration you weight and how much the vitiman contains and how many you take per day? vitiman a is not water soluable so you store excess of it to much can cause problems hope this helps

  5. Too much vitamin A -beta carotene can turn your skin orange temporarily. Never take more than the dosage on the bottle.
For toddlers you need to make sure as far as age and size, etc.

  6. No, only way he could be getting too much is if he took EXTRA supplementation of Vit A or was also taking an anti-oxidant…
