Can teenagers use hair vitamins?
I'm about to turn 16 in a few of months and get a job (hopefully). Right now though my hair is sort of a mess I guess.
The front portion is full and thick and can get very silky. The very back of my hair is thinner, silkier textured and I don't think it grows because I get like no new growth ever. But the sides and crown of my head are the real problem because they are short, brittle, and very kinky textured.
I was thinking I'm just going to shave it all off and start fresh..but well I'll admit I'm a tad bit on the vain side and can't imagine myself walking around bald, for very long at least. And my hair has been shoulder length for about 3 years now I think.
So I found these hair vitamins called Hairfinity and they're not too expensive and I background checked the company and everything. The problem is that my mom thinks they'll pump too many chemicals into me.
And she won't even let me buy them with my own money.
So I was wondering can teenagers use hair vitamins like Hairfinity? Are there some kind of bad chemicals in them that might be harmful?
Please and thank you.

Not very sure……I think it would be ok on the brittle parts
