Can a headache from neck problem cause high blood pressure?

I have spinal stenosis, cervical radiculopathy and herniated discs. After I stopped the traction at PT (my insurance stopped paying).
I started to get really intense headaches.
Now my blood pressure is really high
160/110 and my doc said it is from the pain.

Does pain cause your BP to go up like that?

  1. yes pain can cause your b/p and your pulse to rise. high b/p can also cause you to have a head ache. i would try going to see a chiropractor.
