Can a doctors take my blood test to see if iam lacking in any vitamins?

If iam not eating properly and lacking vitamins can a doctor take a blood test to see if i could be eating more healthy or is that wasting a doctors time?
Its not a waste of time. If your lacking in vitamins and you eat junk food all the time your end up sick.
I dont even know if doctors do those tests

  1. It’s never a waste of time to check your vitamin and mineral levels. Two tests i recommend – Vitamin D (the most common deficiency with estimates of 90% deficient in the US alone) and vitamin B12 (studies show 39% have low levels). Make sure your levels are in the high normal range for optimal health.

  4. That is why they take blood tests, to see what your levels are, and they will suggest ways to help, like eating better, vitamins and even exercise.
