  3. This looks like a great recipe. I didn’t know you could use such a small amount of pesto. I always shy away from pesto because it’s so high in fat, but seeing this demo, this looks nice & easy to make and delish. I’m going to try a vegan version of this using Lighlife Smart Strips – 0grams of fat and 14 grams of protein (and tastes like real chicken). Then I don’t have to feel so bad about the pesto ;-)

    True, I guess it depends on the brand. Some use vegetable oil and other ingredients I can’t pronounce. Also, some brands have parmesean cheese (processed, not fresh). Gotta read the lables.

  13. @hipretty I never heard of this lady before but she knows what she’s talking about when it comes to tasty salads. Except I’d keep the egg yolks for nutritive benefits. I can see why she’s thin. And why would somebody call her names like a few comments below. I agree that some shallow persons have no sense of conscience for their hurtful judgements.

  20. @loladelrio I hate to say it, but are you seriously that dense? She never says that the food she’s preparing is “fine dining”, in fact she mentions that it’s NOT. She’s showing the rest of us how easy it is to throw together easy recipes to eat healthily with things you already have in the kitchen. And as for your “the best thing she can make for dinner is reservations!” jab – good one. You’re quite the comedian. <— sarcasm.

  24. I find the hardest thing for me when dieting is getting enough nutrition. Smaller portions work, but I’m left hungry and less food= less nutrition. I use nutritional supplements now and eat healthy, full meals.I got started at ryansnutrition com and have my appetite under control.
