best way to take a vitamin?
hello whats the best way to take a multivitamin? i take mine in the morning its a one a day mens health. i take it with a cup of milk and a tablespoon of olive oil. whats everyone think about that? also iv read that when taking the multivitamin that all of it doesnt absorb. would it be better to take half of the vitamin and then wait like 8 hours and take the other half.

I recommend you to take your Vitamins in the Morning and with Meal always.
There are two kind of Vitamins according to their path of assimilation
Liposoluble and Hydrosoluble (The ones that dissolve in Fat and water respectively)
Also to aid in the process of efficent absorption i would recommend Time-release vitamins to avoid some content ending in your pee, sometimes vitamins dissolve so quickly that the body just can absorb so much at the same time and ends processing the rest out of your body, this is specially noticeable with Vitamin B complex (seen as Neon-Yellow pee or slightly orange*)
[*Note: This is only when taking some vitamins as it could be in other case signal of other medical condition that needs attention inmediately]
You should never break a pill of vitamins, it might lead to even worse absorption, they are made in layers for a reason. and never exceed the recommended dose, more is not better. there are actually diseases for great excess of some vitamins.
To be able to take out the best of your vitamins, do excersise, lift weights or some sport, and it will help you to get a more fit body and overall better health, Hope this helps : )

Take it all early in the day, and it is okay with food, whatever and whenever the metabolism is going to work at its longest and most efficient state to absorb it to the max. So, the opposite would be at bedtime, which is the wrong time.

Take it with food – and don’t worry about cutting it in half – your body is going to get plenty from it, I assure you….

you see I’m a doctor. i don’t prescribe vitamins to my patients why because you can take it from your food you eat and they are much easier to digest and you don’t have to pay extra money and you won’t have to worry about how to eat them
