Best vitamins for adrenal glands/endocrine system?

After periods of intense stress I feel completely fatigued and "zombie-like".. I feel guilty because of my excessive use of coffee in the past, and am aware it's taken its toll on my adrenal glands. Caffiene-free now, eating healthy and vitamins I take include: C, B complex, Calcium, Magnesium, fish oil, acidophilus and slow-release iron sometimes. I'm also experiencing some depression that I cannot shake, though my life is going well. Could this be a hormonal issue, and how would I find out?

Any tips from those who are knowledgeable on this topic or who've experienced it themselves are welcome! Thanks

  1. Congratulations on being caffeine free. That’s awesome. You’re taking good stuff. Be sure that your iron, calcium and magnesium come from food sources, rather than either synthetic sources or shale or chalk or from undigestable sources. You’re probably better off with Omega 3′s for your fish oil. A good source of that would be Nordic Naturals. The best acidophilus that I know of comes from GI Pro, a supplement from Mannatech. Mannatech is a network marketing direct sales company, and they ship right to your door. And yes, I would be happy to help with that one, if you’d like. GI Pro costs less than $1 per day. The best Adrenal Support also comes from Mannatech, in a product called PLUS. It has helped my wife and myself immensely over the past 14 years that we have taken it. I think that if you address the hormonal issues, you’ll find that the depression is significantly helped.

I would imagine you’ve found a significant improvement in eating healthy. Exercise and water intake is imperative for you, as well as all of us, as well. If you have any questions, please email at miracles-unlimited@sbcglobal.net.

  2. I take Andreplex, or Andretone, I take one in the morning and one in the afternoon, I take it for chronic fatigue
