  3. @BodyPerformanceTV, you responded within a hour, i will tell my friends about you.

Keep up the good work :)

  4. Hey Steve. Just wanted to comment here for the people who still look up to and rely on protein, and their so-called “beliefs” of protein requirements before or after their workouts. My thoughts: Drop the Protein Shakes, Get outta the kitchen, and go to the GYM!!! Doesn’t matter if you have a decent protein intake at ALL. Ya know why? Because its much more important to 1) Lift Intensely on a regular basis. 2) Replace glycogen stores. 3. Eat a normal diet. and 3) worry more about carb intake.

  5. Because MOST IMPORTANTLY (as you’ve stated on your blog talk radio show several several times) is that in order for muscle growth to occur, after an intense workout is that carbohydrates are just as, if not, MORE important than your protein intake BECAUSE its the FUEL of the repair process, which then allows your muscles to utilize that protein or even the Excess Protein. A wide variety of carbs have PLENTY of protein. So i advise all beginners to take their mind off protein, and Pump That Iron!

  6. Also remembered another thing from a few of your older videos, is that: Muscle growth, you can only put on 1 Pound of Muscle in a week (7 days). Although, it can only happen under the BEST conditions. Meaning: 1) Lifting Intensely, Intelligently, and Consistently, and also allowing enough recovery for to allow the muscles to re-compensate, and grow bigger and stronger. That’s pretty much all i wanted to say. Keep up the Great Work with your Radio Show Steve, and Have a great Weekend!

  7. @Woodsey24 AGREED!!!!! HAve a great weekend as well. Steve

  8. @Woodsey24 Its very important to have your protein and people who dont get enough from it from there diet supplement with the shakes which help out alot. It shouldnt be just the basis of your lifting and wanting to grow muslce. Theres getting enough sleep, lifting correctly intensely and getting enough rest. Balanced diet maybe more then the avg person. Multivitamin Minerals. Fish Oil, and taking your protein will help out alot. Why say just worry about carb intake and not protein as well

  9. what one is the back exercise?

  10. hey steve, i have been having a problem with tricept musle groath. i feel like no matter what i do my tricepts never get stronger compaired to the rest of my body and its hard for me to get a good burn on both arms as well as its hard to gain strength in my tricepts. any tips? nice video keep them up.

  11. @Obi1BenoBEE30 Without frustration in this conversation between you and i. Let me summarize my opinion on this topic: (Yes, protein is an important aspect, and is needed for muscle growth, sleep/rest is pretty obvious. Balanced diet is essential for muscle growth. But But But…without the WORKOUT present, then forget about getting bigger muscles because it won’t happen! Unless you’re taking Massive Amounts of Anabolic Steroids). Worry about Lifting!!! (you get enough protein in your diet).

  12. @Woodsey24 Yeah thats very true and alot of people who try and bulk up do the wrong types of workouts doing too many extra reps getting not enough rest and eating as much as they can. But then again you have to have the other stuff in check before you can worry about lifting otherwise your lifting just to lift is what i mean

  13. @Obi1BenoBEE30 i totally understand where you’re getting at. As long as everything is in line (diet, recovery, training) you wont have to worry about too much protein. Nobody said you don’t need protein, you just don’t need TOO MUCH of an excess of protein; because the body only uses so much protein that it requires daily, and thats it. Not to mention the maximum amount of muscle we can gain in a week is only 1 lb.

  14. @Woodsey24 Agreed and how is it people at my gym or athletes on tv claim of gaining 15-25 pds of muscle in 2 months is that even possible

  15. @Obi1BenoBEE30 Yes, but you’d have to take Massive Amounts of Anabolic Steroids; Believe me. If they’re trying to convince everybody that gaining 15-25 lbs of muscle is possible in as short as 2 months…then they’ve got their heads way too far up their asses. They can’t make natural changes occur for themselves, so they have to cheat and use drugs to achieve great results. I almost have to puke whenever some muscle dummy (who looks like arnold) is teaching people how to train effectively.

  16. can someone give me a good advanced weekly workout for like professionals? just like body parts and on what day of the week? because ive been doing uper body than lower body and space them out a few days in my week and the rest of days were cardio and i had a break. i cant find a plan anywhere elce =(.

  17. What happened to the radio show on tan talk radio? I miss it.

  18. @Amiel912 Sorry! We’re taking a break. Soo many other things we have to do. You can listen to old show at greatfatlosspill com

  19. Hey man Love your video’s. Iv started working out this year, I was 257 and lost a total of 11.5 lbs so far in about 9 days. Im allowing my self about 2000 calories a day . Now if i Exercise and burn more calories then I eat is this Unhealthy? People tell me that your only supposed to lose 2 lbs a week . I don’t feel sick or tired at all i feel good after i work out sometimes i feel a little shaky but that happens after 1h30 min on the elliptical Please help.

  20. @Sauce1977 Heavier people can lose more than 2 pounds a week. 2000 calories is a good amount. You will not be unhealthy.

  21. @Woodsey24 I cannot possibly agree with this more.

  22. Listen to Steve, his information/style is easy to grasp, and it works…I started out at 267, and the information/knowledge I gained here helped me get down to 208, I currently hover at about 215, but my body is more toned, I have more stamina (2 things which work well together in the dating arena), & I feel better…keep it up Steve, and could you please say in a video “i lift things up and put them down”…that is my new workout slogan b/c I lift things up and put them down
