I agree. I’ve been trying these streches and my back can really feel it. I am however having a hard time getting the lower back completely straight against the wall.

I been doing this excercize every day for the last half year. My friends are saying that I have grown taller, when really I have just had better posture to estimate my TRUE height. The scapular (along with the feet) would have to be the most neglected and over-used area of the body which receives hardly any attention. This excercize feels great as though someone is pumping air into my spine and nervous system. It is in fact the best excercize I have ever done. I usually allow 20 mins each day.

I would think it more likely that you’re getting cerebro-spinal fluid instead of air, which is better since it supports load better. If it were air it couldn’t support weight or maintain height under load =-)

Sometimes they spend so much time on patients they may lack time for themselves. You can also be obese and limber.
