at a gastric bypass plateau on weight loss help!!!?

I had my bypass 10 months ago next week... I am at a weight loss standstill and am having cravings and finding it hard to fight the snack feeling but I am not hungry and it is making me sick! I have lost 157 lbs since last January and 127 since 10 months ago... I have 50-60 more to go before I am at my ideal goal weight... I am having problems with remembering to take my vitamins hence lack of energy and motivation to function is setting in and im getting dizzy quite often...If anyone has suggestions on this that has had the bypass I would appreciate your input! anyone who is not familiar or thinks they have just a great idea or a sarcastic comment please refrain from even typing... thank you
again please anyone with a positive answer on this is what I need right now not advertisements for something stupid. I had my bypass because of medical reasons and by far it was not! an easy way out and this has been one of the most difficult things in my life! The amount of things we go through to be sure we are ready for this surgery and to be sure hat we are not doing it as an easy out... People who treat it as such it can kill them so if you don't know what you are talking about please refrain from responding... Anyone who can help with this question I thank you in advance...

  1. had it a year ago, i usually drink lots of water with crystal light, as far as vitamins have them setting out on your counter so you can see them, i had that problem too, drink 1 whey drink a day it really helps as far as energy. dont worry about the weight loss stand still i went though one that lasted a month. get a take along med container and always have some on you in case you are gone for a long period of time. and congrats on the weight loss.

  2. Congratulations to you! Hooray! My daughter had it over 2 years ago and has also lost a lot of weight. She hit plateaus and worried too. Just wait. It will start to come off again. Your body is just adjusting. Only take a bite of something you want. That should satisfy you. Remember you had to learn to eat differently and you succeeded. Keep that in mind. Take your vitamins. Put them somewhere that you will see them right away or get a weekly pill container for your purse.
You have already been so successful and you will continue. I bet you feel great!!!!

  3. Don’t you just love it when you ask a question like this and someone tells you about their favorite diet. They just don’t have a clue, do they? If diets ever worked long term, no one would ever need a gastric bypass.

I really don’t have much of an answer for you, but medically speaking, I think you need some labwork done (if you haven’t done so already) to find out if something is lacking or abnormal that could be making you feel this way. You must figure out a way to make yourself take those vitamins faithfully. I also take a lot of pills (liver transplant) and know the importance of taking the necessary meds to avoid being sick.

I use one of those plastic containers that you can get anywhere (Walmart) that has a box for each day of the week. They also have ones that have a.m./p.m boxes. Fill them up each week and put them somewhere that you will have to see them in the morning (by your bed, on the kitchen table). It’s the only way I can remember to take mine and it works out good for me. Doing it that way makes me never miss a dose plus you don’t have to look at all the bottles and open each one. You do it once a week and they are ready to go all week.

  4. The pattern for losing weight is not difficult – eat less food and exercise more – the problems appear when we actually try to put that into practice! There are lots of opportunities to fail out there don’t you think?! I learned some excellent help by following the website in the box below, they have lots of guidance, I shed 6 pounds by following their helpful advice.
