Am I allowed to buy them over-the-counter?
I'm 16...just talking about buying plain old vitamins over the counter. It's not at all for weight loss or anything, but just regular vitamins like Vitamin A and Zinc. I know some bottles say something like to not sell to people under the age of 18, so I don't want to go up to the cash register and then have the cashier ask me for ID for something. Okay, well thanks for the help :) I appreciate the answers!

i would think you could but i’m not 100% sure, don’t think they can harm you unless you mix with prescription meds an then you should ask pharmist if they can be mixed. good luck

You won’t be IDed for buying over-the-counter vitamins.

Go to your local pharmacy. If you look at their shelves, they have vitamins everywhere and for everything. They’re a bit pricey but they last about a month or so. You don’t have to be any age to buy them, but if they don’t allow you to, get a friend who looks older to get them for you, or get them at a food store that has a pharmacey.

In CA it is not a problem.

If you think you need vitamins, have your mom get them for you.

Buy them online.

Cant you purchase vitamins without dealing with the pharmacist at all? I never heard of that. I heard that you have to be 18 to buy cold pills but vitamins I never thought would be a threat. What is this world coming to?

Yes, you can get some over the counter. There are things like iron in the others that are an issue for people under 18.
