  1. You shouldn’t avoid whole grains! Whole grains are good for you! You need fiber in your diet because it helps with digestion and it can help with weight maintenance! My tip would be to look for breads that have at least 2 grams of fiber per 100 calories! However, refined sugars ARE the things that people should avoid: like white breads, cookies, sodas, etc.

    I agree with the water! Drink it up!

  5. @bbauerish Whole grains are grains too, and no, we don’t need them. Your body can get fiber from alternative sources such as peas, nuts, beans, citrus fruits and apples. Regular grains *and* whole grains are just sugar sources. Excess sugar.

  9. @hanatdog Thanks! So you wouldnt recommend doing this? Just wondering because i exercise alot but eat junk too so i dont really lose weight. What would you think it good to keep you metabolism from slowing?

  10. @177Lucky It is definately healthier to drink water with a meal, and eating less is fine a long as you dont consume TOO MUCH less. you should never drop below 130 calories a day, and should never subtract f=more than 200 calories at a time. Water makes your metabolism faster, as does excersize,a nd eating small meals. eating spicy foods canhelp increase it, and excersize definately does as well :) hope this helps!

  20. LOL I started gaining a lovely….(note sarcasm) gut and im skinny in general and i always wear tight clothes and ALWAYYYYYSSSS suck in my stomach when i walk around or where ever i am LOL

    i thought i was the only one who did this LOL
